THE wait is almost over!
In just a week’s time, Daily Sun’s much-anticipated second season of Sun’Ceda will be returning to Mzansi Wethu.
Speaking to the SunTeam, musician and returning host Stoan Seate said he couldn’t wait for viewers to see what was in store for them.
“The show is going to be filled with surprises as we have switched things up.
“It’s going to shine a light on extraordinary people who are doing great things in their communities, as it’s not every day you see a person going out of their way to ensure others are okay in life,” he said.
The Bongo Maffin member said although the shooting schedule was tight, he enjoyed himself.
“I’m a people’s person who likes meeting new people. When I am around people, I’m the happiest, so shooting this show has been amazing I’m grateful 1Life came on board again for a second season so we could continue with our mission to impact people’s lives.”
The show is set to premiere on Thursday, 23 September and will run for 13 episodes.
Speaking about the new season, Stoan said: “South Africa has a lot of problems and we understand that 13 episodes can’t cover them all. But we’re glad we’re tackling them one problem at a time.
“I’m proud of what my team and I have been able to do throughout the season.”
Stoan said he hoped the people of Mzansi would welcome the show into their homes as he would be taking them on a journey filled with tears of joy, smiles and hope.
Sun’Ceda will screen on Mzansi Wethu, DStv channel 163.
