“EVERY good story has an ending,” said the former Bidvest Wits and Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder, Sibusiso “Villa” Vilakazi, as he looks forward to a successful journey with his new club, TS Galaxy.

Villa expressed his gratitude to Galaxy’s chairman, Tim Sukazi, and wants to repay him with a valuable contribution to the success of the club. Villa, who has more than 331 appearances in the Premier Soccer League (PSL), with 64 goals and 36 assists, wants to add more to his tally and more trophies to Galaxy’s cabinet.

The 32-year-old attacking midfielder wants to use his experience and be part of a new history with Galaxy, and help to guide the team to title glory.

“I had a wonderful stint with Mamelodi Sundowns, but every good story has an ending.

“And I’d like to thank Mr Tim Sukazi, who immediately acquired my services as soon as he knew I was available,” said Villa.

“I’m very excited to join this club and I can’t even explain the feeling of being here.

“I’m here to help the team and that’s the most important thing, and I’m also here to win trophies because it’s all about that at the end of the day.

“This is a club that has the ability to win trophies.

“We all saw their Nedbank Cup glory against Kaizer Chiefs a few years ago.

“It will be a great story to win trophies with this Galaxy team and I believe we can do it.

“We will ensure that we compete to the fullest in order to be in a better position to attain trophies.”
