TS GALAXY vice-captain, Given Msimango, has hailed DStv Diski Challenge graduate Aphelele Teto, saying he has a bright future with the Rockets.
The nippy, diminutive 18-year-old midfielder, was recently unveiled with the club’s 2022-23 domestic season squad at Solomon Mahlangu Stadium, KwaMhlanga.
Teto enjoyed seven appearances with the senior team last season.
Both Msimango and coach Sead Ramovic believe the youngster has a lot to offer the team this season.
“Aphelele is a top individual, top human being also. A very humble and talented boy,” said Msimango.
“I feel he came into a good set-up with coach Sead Ramovic, who believes in young players and raw talent, so he’s going to get an opportunity within the team.”
Ramovic said there’s room for improvement for the young Teto, and he’s a very good player for someone of his height and age. “He has this amazing quality and amazing skills, but he still has to learn a lot in terms of tactical aspects and movements off the ball, but he’ll improve,” he said.
