The Premier Soccer League (PSL) has confirmed the 2022/23 MTN8 quarterfinal fixtures, dates, and kick-off times.

The quarterfinals of this season’s Wafa Wafa will be played on the weekend of 17 and 18 October.

Cape Town City, the 2018-19 winners of the competition, will have the honour of kicking off proceedings when they face AmaZulu FC at Athlone Stadium on Saturday, 27 August.

That match is set to get underway at 3pm.

It will then be the turn of Royal AM to make their mark in the competition when they lock horns with Orlando Pirates at Chatsworth Stadium later that day at 6pm.

Wafa Wafa action will then resume on Sunday 28 August, when Stellenbosch FC will welcome Kaizer Chiefs to the Danie Craven Stadium in the early kick-off (3pm).

That encounter will be followed by a thrilling Tshwane derby between defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns and SuperSport United at the Tuks Stadium at 6pm.

Sundowns won the elusive trophy last season and it eventually set the tone for what was a dominant campaign which saw the win every available trophy in the PSL.
