BANYANA Banyana duo, Jermaine Seoposenwe and Ode Fulutudilu have left SC Braga in Portugal and Glasgow City in Scotland respectively.

The news was confirmed by their clubs this week.

Seoposenwe decided not to renew her contract after a two-year stay with the Portuguese club while Fulutudilu was released.

“SC Braga informs that players Diana Gomes, Inês Maia, Machaela George, Mariana Couto, Evy Pereira, Jermaine Seoposenwe, Andreia Norton and Myra Delgadillo end their contract with the Club and will not be part of the squad of the women’s senior team in the 2022/2023 season,” said SC Braga on their website.

“SC Braga appreciates all the commitment, dedication and professionalism with which they have always represented the Club and wishes you all the best for the future.”

On the other end, Glasgow City also released a brief statement confirming that Fulutudilu will not be part of the team next season.

Fulutudilu joined the Scottish side in 2021 from the Spanish side Malaga.

The club revealed: “Glasgow City FC can today provide an update for the playing squad as we head into the 2022/23 SWPL1 season. We can confirm Vital Kats, Niamh Farrelly, Julia Molin, Ode Fulutudilu, Tylerodds, Agata Filipa and Mya Bates will be departing the club this summer,” said a Glasgow City statement.

“Everyone at Glasgow City FC would like to place on record their thanks to each and every departing player for their immense contributions to the club, and indeed our history. We would also like to wish each departing player the very best of luck in the future as they take the next steps in their careers.”
