There’s need for drastic change

accreditation

Most of the stories that are trending in the country are uninspiring.

When watching the news on TV, bad stories are the order of the day.

Law enforcement officials are caught on the wrong side of the law.

Some pastors are facing rape charges.

At home, supposedly a safe place for kids, some dads sexually assault their daughters.

What a disgrace!

When you go outside, unemployed graduates roam the streets helplessly while drug peddlers stand tall at street corners waiting for potential clients.

I often hang my head in shame when I hear or see horrendous stories. To others, a lie is seemingly a new truth.

It leaves a bitter taste to see that people are becoming their own worst enemies.

A dad who sexually molests his own daughter is very dangerous to himself and to his household.

The old adage goes: “There’s nothing as stable as change.”

This adage must drive us to strive for change where our gut feeling tempts us to do wrong.

A father must be a source of inspiration in his household and neighbourhood.

Pastors should work very hard to uplift congregants spiritually.

These are the people who must lead a life congregants draw strength and comfort from.

Rampant, widespread social ills such as rape and murder trouble the nation, and there’s a need for an urgent collective intervention.
