“We wish all South Africans travelling to see the match, such as President Cyril Ramaphosa and all senior officials of the South African government, a safe journey during this period. May you carry the aspirations of our nation with you. The whole country is behind you. Make us proud. Halala, Mabhokobhoko, halala,” he said.
Prince Africa said King Misuzulu wishes to inform the nation and the public that he will join the handing over and renaming ceremony of the multi-mission inshore patrol vessel, the SAS King Shaka Zulu.
He said the event will be held on Friday, 27 October, at Salisbury Island in Durban.
“The activities will commence at 10am and conclude at 2pm. This event takes a special place in his majesty’s heart as the vessel will be renamed after King Shaka Zulu, the first monarch of the Zulu Kingdom, a testimony to our country’s recognition of the immense contributions of King Shaka in shaping our shared identity as a nation,” he said.
Prince Africa added that Misuzulu and the members of the Zulu royal family will join other dignitaries, including military leaders and representatives from all levels of government.
