ZULU King Misuzulu kaZwelithini has reportedly been feeling unwell.

Traditional prime minister of the Zulu nation, Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi (94), has asked for prayers for Misuzulu.

Buthelezi said this during a prayer event dedicated to him at St Mary’s Anglican Church in Ulundi on Wednesday, 12 April.

He said the king is in Swaziland.

“The king is not well. He needs prayers and treatment.

“I had to talk to the police minister to intervene because there are very unseemly things on social media about the king’s wife and young people who stay with him,” he said.

Buthelezi clarified that Misuzulu is spiritually unwell.

“Regrettably, this comment has been misinterpreted that the king is physically unwell, which is not the case.

“I don’t want to alarm the king’s people; the king is not physically unwell, but he is spiritually unwell and needs prayers,” said Buthelezi.

Recently, it has been reported that Misuzulu allegedly had an affair with one of the gender-based violence activists.

It was further reported that one of the king’s wife allegedly had an affair with one of the king’s close cousins behind his back.

It is alleged that king Misuzulu booted the said wife out of the palace and later brought her back to avoid bad publicity.

Sources close to Misuzulu told Daily Sun that the king is cooling his head next to his uncle, King Mswati III in Eswatini after all the scandals.
