A WIFE has appeared in court for allegedly killing her husband by setting him alight on Friday, 10 March.

The husband (54) was admitted to Mofumahadi Manapo Mopeli Regional Hospital with severe burn wounds, but he succumbed to his injuries.

The 37-year-old wife made her second appearance in the Phuthaditjhaba Magistrates Court in Free State on Tuesday, 28 March, where the state opposed bail as the accused allegedly has previous offences.
