OVER 12 armed suspect robbed a Samsung store at the Fourways Crossing on Sunday, 23 October.

The tsotsis reportedly left all phones in the shop and other devices, and instead grabbed over R2 million worth of cameras.

In the videos making the rounds on social media, the men can be seen running while carrying bags towards what seems to be their getaway car. Seconds into the video, multiple gunshots can be heard being fired at the entrance of the centre.

Douglasdale Police Station spokeswoman Brigadier Veeshani Arikum said it was a business robbery, where eight men entered the store and took cameras.

Arikum added that during the incident, shots were fired but no one was injured and there was no damage to property.
