MZANSI was left shocked following a video showing church congregants dancing to Boohle’s amapiano song – still in their full church uniform.

The song titled Hamba Wena has been driving fans wild across Mzansi.

It has been trending on TikTok, but it was shocking to see a church participating in this trend.

Moses Ntlengethwa on Twitter said he finds the video funny and said Mzansi people should stop being judgemental.

“People do ridiculous things every day, but we just laugh and move on. Just do the same with these ones. They are also human,” said Moses.

But not everyone shared the same sentiment.

Some people said it looks like the youth can’t separate their night life from church life.

“I don’t condone such behaviour and we shouldn’t laugh at this because it’s not funny.

“Their elders need to put them in line because we’ll have a community that can’t differentiate between a fun place and a spiritual space,” said Nomvelo Deda.

Some people said this kind of situation is one of the reasons why they don’t set foot inside the church anymore.

“People can’t draw the line between church and groove anymore. This isn’t the first video showing congregants doing despicable things in church and I’m tired of it,” said Londiwe Maseko on Twitter.
