BAFANA Bafana take on Morocco on Tuesday, 30 January in the Afcon last 16 at Laurent Pokou Stadium in San Pedro, Ivory Coast.
The SNL24 team took to the busy streets of Randburg in Joburg to ask soccer fanatics whether or not Bafana will bring home the cup.
Majority of Bafana supporters are doubtful of the national team's skill on the field at this year’s Afcon.
This as history speaks loudly of Bafana's poor performance in previous matches.
The country has witnessed the national team's gradual fall from grace as they took second place at the Afcon in 1998 and then third in 2000.
Since then, Bafana has struggled to redeem themselves after taking a low blow in 2006. Bafana have previously failed to qualify for Afcon as they we were defeated by both Sudan and Ghana in the qualifying matches.

But it hasn't always been doomsday for the national team. There was a time when they were a force to be reckoned with after winning the 1996 Afcon on home soil and being crowned the continent's champions.
Kgoshikekana said: "If it was Banyana Banyana then I would say yes, but it's definitely a hard no for me when it comes to Bafana Bafana. I'm not trying to be negative! The last time we had a proper national team was around the year 1996, so I don't think they'll win the Afcon games."
Lihle Malinga said: "I'm not sure, but I do think that the last game was a good one. They are slowly gaining confidence, if only they not selfish and play as a team."
Lubisi said: "Since Bafana Bafana is playing against Morocco it's going to be a tough one, but I believe in them."
