THREE people died in a shack fire in Zandspruit, near Fourways in the North of Joburg.
The victims were burnt beyond recognition in a fire that started in one of the shacks at midnight on Sunday, 4 June and spread to 21 shacks.
It is said that a woman left her stove on overnight to warm herself up but she fell asleep.
