TSHWANE Metro Police Department (TMPD) drug members arrested two suspects on Tuesday, 21 June, for dealing and being in possession of drugs in Soshanguve.
TMPD spokesman Isaac Mahamba said the suspects, aged 27 and 37, were found with drugs with an estimated street value of more than R75 160.
He said an operation by TMPD tactical members, with crime intelligence in Atteridgeville, led to the suspects.
“The operation was conducted on two premises. In the first residence, a search was conducted. One woman was found with more than 100 sachets of nyaope, crystal meth and dagga.

“On the second one, a man was found with sachets of nyaope and dagga. They were arrested for dealing and possession of drugs,” Mahamba said.
He added that the suspects were expected to appear in court soon.
