THREE men will spend the next 195 years behind bars.

The three men, Katlego Sebolai (32), Keobakile Obuseng (25) and Neo Dikwidi (22) were sentenced by the Kuruman Magistrates Court on Friday, 19 May for kidnapping, hijacking, murder and illegal possession of firearm and ammunition.

Hawks spokeswoman, Nomthandazo Mnisi, said the cases against the men were investigated by the Kuruman Serious Organised Crime Investigation team after a string of hijacking and kidnapping cases were reported around John Taolo Gaetsewe district in 2019.

"A thorough investigation by the team led to the trio's conviction and sentencing," she said.
