MAVIS Makhaphela fell pregnant 32 years ago, in 1992.  

At the time, she was only 15 years old.  

Her mother had died, and she had no guidance in motherhood. Although her baby boy was a blessing, he was born with a disability - unable to walk, eat or even go to the bathroom by himself.
