KRAAIFONTEIN residents in the Western Cape are shocked after they woke up to a man screaming for help as his shack was on fire on Sunday morning, 18 February.

Alfred Mntwana (42) was drinking booze with his girlfriend before he decided to go and sleep.

Residents suspect that he could have tried to warm some food to eat before sleeping but ended up falling asleep.
