POLICE in Kagiso in the West Rand are appealing to anyone with information on the whereabouts of the suspects who allegedly killed three people on Friday, 7 October.

The police are investigating cases of murder and attempted murder after a shooting incident at 10.30pm in Soul City.

According to Brigadier Brenda Muridili, it was reported that a group of people gathered at a house and bought liquor.

While they were drinking and enjoying themselves, they were attacked by two balaclava-clad suspects who shot randomly outside and inside the house.

Muridili said two men and one woman were certified dead by paramedics on the scene while six people were rushed to the local hospital for medical attention.

“It is not yet known how the suspects fled the scene. The motive for the shooting will form part of investigations. The provincial commissioner of police in Gauteng has mobilised maximum resources to comb the scene and to investigate the incident,” she said.

She said the provincial Serious and Violent Crime Unit is investigating cases of murder and attempted murder.

“No one has been arrested yet,” added Muridili.

Muridili said they are appealing to anyone with information on the whereabouts of the suspects to contact the CrimeStop number 08600 10111 or to send tip-offs through the MySAPS app.
