THE Mogwase Magistrates Court transferred the murder case against Karabo Moche to a Regional Court on Thursday, 14 September.

The 34-year-old will appear before the Mogwase Regional Court on Tuesday, 26 September this year.

Moche allegedly stabbed his lover, Keabetswe Molefinyana (30), from Mabeskraal Village outside Rustenburg several times at the Mogwase Shopping Complex in February.

The deceased’s brother, Katlego Molefinyana, said they were happy to see progress.

Katlego said the case has been dragging for too long.

“Our parents are not coping. The deaths of our sister have left the family in a bad condition. We want to see the end of this matter. It will give us closure,” Katlego said.

He said they were relieved that there was direction.

“We have been attending court since February, and the accused must get a lengthy sentence,” he said.

The accused remains in custody until the next court appearance as he was denied bail.
