MZANSI is as good as having no president.
This is according to the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF)
The party said the revelations by African National Congress (ANC) secretary-general Fikile Mbalula that President Cyril Ramaphosa had resigned as the country's president vindicated the EFF, which had already stated this in February 2023.
EFF spokesman Sinawo Thambo: "This damning revelation made by the custodian of the membership of the ANC and its deployed members to government in the form of the secretary-general confirms to the nation that we have a president who is not committed to his office."
He said when Malema said this, it was framed as conspiracy and rumour mongering, by a government and ruling party that is prone to lies.
Malema claimed on 28 February 2023 at the EFF's 10th anniversary that Ramaphosa was only physically present while his soul and consciousness were no longer interested in being president.

He said his resignation follows the damning findings of the Section 89 Independent Panel to investigate Phala Phala Farm, which found that he may have breached the Constitution and his oath of office.
Both the ANC and the Presidency dismissed Malema’s allegations.
However, in a speech to ANC supporters at the Mjindi Town Hall in Barberton, Mpumalanga as part of the ANC's 112th anniversary celebrations, Mbalula referred to the fact that Ramaphosa wanted to leave office, but members of the NEC convinced him to stay.
"The EFF is an organisation that always stands on the side of truth, no matter how unpopular it may be and despite the mobilisation of state resources and right-wing media to portray the truth as a conspiracy," Thambo said.
He said it was clear that Ramaphosa had no interest in being president of Mzansi. He said this was evident from the fact that he had no appetite to solve the many challenges facing the country.
"Ramaphosa’s failures are due to the fact that he has long resigned from being the leader of our nation. His incapacity and reluctance to solve challenges such as load shedding, unemployment, landlessness, high crime rates, gender-based violence and an economy on the verge of collapse indicate a man who is no longer interested in his task," Thambo said.
