THE legal representatives of Facebook rapist and murderer, Thabo Bester, have withdrawn from advocating for his prison escape in the Bloemfontein magistrate court on Tuesday, 20 June.
Advocate Tseunyane Pela and Tsireledzo Ndou have both withdrawn from representing the Facebook rapist in his prison escape case.
Advocate Pela submitted to the court that they have reached an amicable agreement with Bester to pull out on representing him.
Magistrate Motlholo Khabisi granted the recusal application and questioned Bester to confirm that he knows about the applications and understands the conditions.

Bester appeared virtually from Kgosi Mampuru correctional centre where he was detained after his dramatic escape from Mangaung correctional centre in May 2022.
He appeared online, while his girlfriend Dr Nandipha Magudumana, Zimbabwean foreign national Zanda Moyo and other accused appeared in court.
State prosecutor, Sello Matlhoko, told the court that three more arrest were emanating.
"These are included based on bank statements and phone recordings. We can confirm three more suspects will be apprehended before the case is transferred to the High Court for a possible trial," he said.
The case has been postponed to Tuesday, 08 August for further investigations.
