RESIDENTS of Mabopane, Sun Valley, Boikhutsong, Itsoseng and other surrounding areas will no longer be turned away due to a lack of space at Sun valley Primary School.
This was after the school officially unveiled an addition of seven classrooms.
Currently, the school roll is sitting at 990, but in 2024, it will increase to 1 100.
Speaking to Daily Sun, the treasurer of the School Governing Body, Ipeleng Mmulutsi, said there was money allocated to different schools to build classes to eradicate mobile classrooms.
She said some processes needed to be followed, including identifying a construction company.
Mmulutsi said the school had a challenge of turning away parents because of limited infrastructure, but now that headache is gone.
