People have a tendency to save money throughout the year just to spend it all during the festive season.
When January comes, these people have nothing in their pockets.
Some people don’t even have money to pay rent, transport fares to go back to work, or buy school uniforms for their children.
This forces them to go straight to loan sharks, which disturbs their plans for the whole year.

Some parents end up taking out loans just to make their children happy, but this leaves them in huge debts.
Parents need to know that it’s okay to buy what they can afford and not live by society standards.
They should know that it’s okay to let their children wear their old clothes if the budget doesn’t allow to buy new clothes.
They should also know that it’s not mandatory for them to please their children by seeking validation from the community by means of visiting expensive stores which at the end will leave them in debt. The failure to show gratitude to what one has is the invitation of problems and disruption of peace.Parents do what they can and it’s the duty of children to accept the little they offer.
Life does not end in December. We still need money to meet our basic needs come January, so let’s spend money wisely.
