Bishop Musa Sono also attended the service. He expressed how sad he was about what Mzansi has become.

"A few hours ago, I heard about a man who was selling body parts," Sono said.

He also gave words of courage to both families and asked the community to pray against the cruel crimes in Mzansi.

The families thanked those who attended the service and expressed how shocked they were.

Lindiwe Mabena, a member of the community policing forum, said the community was still shocked and won't let the suspects go unpunished.

"Children are our future generation. If you kill them, you kill our country. We won't allow that," said Lindiwe.

Meanwhile, the team appointed by Gauteng commissioner Lieutenant-General Elias Mawela to investigate the murders of the two boys, has arrested a 50-year-old woman and her partner (39).

"On Tuesday, 25 April the team arrested two suspects for questioning following a forensic investigation at the boys’ homes. The duo has since been charged with murder. They will appear in the Protea Magistrates Court on Friday, 28 April."
