COPS in Joburg have made a gruesome discovery of six decomposed bodies alleged to be sex workers.
The bodies were found at a building in central Johannesburg on Sunday night, 9 October.
Police spokeswoman Brigadier Brenda Muridili said cops in Johannesburg arrested a 21-year-old man for murder following the discovery of the six bodies.
She said they were called to the building due to a foul smell from one of the rooms.
"That is when a body of a woman was found. A preliminary investigation led the police to the suspect, believed to be the last person seen with the deceased woman," she said.
Muridili said it is reported that on Sunday, 2 October at 20:00, the suspect was seen with the deceased woman and she was never seen again until her body was discovered on Sunday morning.

"The clothes she was wearing match the description of one of the missing persons reported recently,” she said.
"Upon questioning the suspect, the police went back to the building and five more bodies were discovered outside the building, where there is a makeshift workshop and rubbish dumpster," she said.
Muridili said unfortunately, the other five bodies are at the late stage of decomposition, and they will be subjected to Forensic analysis for identification.
"The suspect will be charged with six counts of murder," she said.
The brother of one of the victims, Tinashe Wilson Murimba, who is from Zimbabwe, told Scrolla.Africa that they have been sick with worry about their missing sister who he identified as Jeanette Nyarai Chiota.
