SEVERAL scrap collectors and whoonga addicts gathered to enjoy their night smoke under a bridge as they normally do, but little did they know that it was their very last joint.
Seven of the addicts were gunned down on Monday, 23 October under the bridge at Crossroads in KwaMashu, north of Durban where they often slept after smoking.
According to a survivor, his friends were allegedly killed for stealing at a nearby shop.
