THE sentencing proceedings of the four teenagers who were found guilty of murdering Limpopo musician Thoriso Themane resumes on Monday, 27 June, in the Limpopo High Court in Polokwane.
Two other teenagers were found guilty of common assault after admitting to slapping Themane and kicking him out of their car and two adults, Chuene Maleka and Alfred Mothapo, were found guilty of assault with intent to do grievous bodily harm.
The 23-year-old Themane was attacked by a group of teenagers in the Polokwane suburb of Fauna Park on 23 February 2019.
He succumbed to his injuries the following day in hospital.
All teenagers in the case have turned 18. The gallery is opened for everyone, however, the sentencing will proceed according to the Child Justice Act as the offence was committed when they were under 18.
