SANGOMA Thokozile "Nomadlozi" Moremi loves giving back.
However, doing it during this time of the year feels extra special to her.
This is because she gives back in honour of her late mum Lina Zodwa Skhosana's birthday.
Her mum was born on 22 August and died in 2020 at the age of 58. She died in the same year Thokozile answered her calling.
Thokozile, who is also the HR manager at Moretele Community Radio, spent her mum's birthday on Tuesday with pupils of Leboneng Primary School in Temba, Hammanskraal, Tshwane.
She donated 90 sanitary pads to the girl pupils and 11 pairs of shoes to both girls and boys.
Thokozile said she will continue celebrating her mother's birthday every year. She started the initiative at a primary school where her schooling journey began.
