A 22-YEAR-OLD sangoma from Mokopane, Limpopo is on a mission to save lives.
Sangoma Nathalia Masubelele told Daily Sun that when she answered her ancestral calling in 2019, she didn't know that she would be called to help drug addicts.
She said while training, her ancestors guided her on which herbs she'd need to use to cure drug addiction.
After her training, she searched for herbs and began her quest to heal people. This is when she saw a need to build herself a rehabilitation centre where she will help her clients.
"I saw a huge shortage of drug rehabilitation centres in my township, and I saw how drugs took the young ones, and I knew I had to do something about this matter. That's when the formation of the Nathanyana Rehabilitation Century came about. I also want to prove that herbalism is Godly," said Sangoma Nathalia.
She said that this makes her happy, and she is proud that she can change people's lives and reunite families.
"We have many testimonies all over the internet. Some of them later come back to give thanks that I managed to help them," she said.
She further said that she uses a concoction of natural herbs to heal the addicts and makes them drink the herbs in the morning before their breakfast and later in the evening before dinner.
"The herbs help them to cool down the cravings, the withdrawals, give them appetite, rejuvenate their normal skin and completion. They also steam to balance their emotions, operate on balanced emotions, rejuvenate their mental state, remove bad energies, and reunite with their power."

The young sangoma told Daily Sun that she knew nothing about drugs, and she never thought that she would help people struggling with drug addiction until her ancestors instructed her about the herbs through a dream.
"I would dream of herbs and for a month, I would phahla to ask them to give me more clarity what I should do with the herbs. That's when they told me what the herbs are for, and that's when the quest for helping them started," said the sangoma.
Former drug addict Kagiso Phokane (25) said he used drugs for two years. He started using it during lockdown for entertainment purposes and to keep himself energised while working. He said that sangoma Nathalia helped him maintain his good behaviour and to see his potential.
"I received warm love from her. She took good care of us while we were at her centre for two months," he said.
