RISE Mzansi successfully launched its manifesto at Heartfelt Arena in Tshwane on Saturday, 20 January.
The leadership of the party was seating among ordinary people, which is rare in the political space, and one couldn't even tell who their leader is.
Rise Mzansi leader Songezo Zibi said his first priority will be to make sure that there's enough food as many South Africans are hungry and don't have land to plant their own food.
He said that every country must put its citizens alive, its moral obligation, and "we can't fail".
He said we are in a violent society, and people are no longer shocked by violence and murder, as they just shake their hands and move on.
"When power goes off for four hours a day instead of six hours a day, we celebrate and say the government has done well," said Zibi.

He said people are not asking to be rich but for dignity, adding that they will not surrender to thieves.
"Rise Mzansi has a bold vision to build a new society. A society that is founded on the values of freedom, equality, justice, solidarity, and integrity.
"Together, we will build a South Africa that is safe, prosperous, and equal where everyone can live a dignified life in one generation," said Zibi.
He said that people must govern.
He said that as Rise Mzansi, they propose a package of political reforms that will fix parliament, government, municipalities, and state-owned companies.
He said not providing basic services to people is a violation of human rights.
He said if the thieves are in charge, there will be soon no money for social grants.
"We can't allow our morals to be lost. In this room, we must make a commitment not to allow a single South African to go to bed hungry, while exporting so much food and spending so much on blue lights," he said.
Zibi said the family is a centre of everyone's life.
"We can't win the battle of crime when the guardians themselves cannot be trusted. How many people here trust Minister Bheki Cele," he said.
He said they will prosecute drug dealers and distributors and send them to prison for a long time.
He said the government, when they took over, they closed technical colleges, nursing, and teachers' colleges, and they believe that a replacement for that is R350.
Zibi said the task of any government is to keep its citizens safe, adding that South Africans should not have to drive more than 15 minutes to the nearest public healthcare facility.
Zibi said that they have to rebuild the economy and make the manifesto a reality.
"We have a good plan in fixing our economy and putting people to work," he said.
Irfaan Mangera, the national leadership collective member of Rise Mzansi, said the ANC of today is not the ANC of Oliver Tambo and Nelson Mandela, it's the ANC of crooks and swindlers.
"This is a daily reality check on how much easier it is for us to get drugs and alcohol than it is for us to get help on preparing a CV.
"Zibi leads with heart, body, mind, and soul. He leads as a committed South African," said Mangera.
