TWO weeks of no school for pupils at Barrage Primary School due to non-payment of rent.

The landlord of the primary school in the rural area of the Vaal locked the school gates for three weeks on Wednesday, 3 April 2024, after the Department of Education allegedly failed to pay R78 000 monthly rent.

Community leader Matiwane Moya (49) told Daily Sun this is the second time this year the landlord has closed the school.
