FORMER president Jacob Zuma has warned power-hungry uMkhonto Wesizwe Party (MK) members that they will be dealt with.
He said this when he was addressing a group of party supporters in Zulu outside the Joburg High Court on Thursday, 11 April.
This was after he appeared for his private prosecution matter against President Cyril Ramaphosa. He said he was aware that there was a fight over positions.
Zuma, who turns 82 on Friday, 12 April, said those who do that will know him better soon.
"We are all interim. No one has a position. We are working as volunteers of MK. Those that I hear are fighting for positions will never get them. You will know me better after I have won," said Zuma.
He said the party was formed to fix Mzansi, which has been broken under Ramaphosa's administration.
"We, therefore, can't afford to fight for positions. If we do that, we will not get a two-thirds majority that we want. We did not form MK for ourselves. It's for all South Africans. You will know me better. I will be in charge of the law," he said.
He said that was why they had already removed some leaders from their positions because MK would not tolerate such people.
He didn't mention names, but MK axed its youth league interim president, Bonginkosi Khanyile, and his deputy, Thapelo Maisha.

They were dismissed, together with interim secretary-general Gaan Cibane and Gauteng provincial co-ordinator Philani "Gazuzu" Nduli.
Their removal was effective from Wednesday, 9 April.
Zuma emphasised that MK members will not do as they please.
"This is not the ANC. We will continue doing this even three days before the elections. If you refuse to toe the party line, we take you out. Those who bribed others to be on the list think we don't know them. We know all of them. And soon, top leaders will be removed from the party," he said.
He said MK was watching all those who are going crazy about positions, and they are taking their names down.
"We will make sure that all those who are hungry for positions don't get them. We don't want people who are in the MK for positions," he said.
Zuma said he made it clear when he formed the party that traditional leaders, as owners of the land, should be included in the list.
"Therefore, it can't happen that we will all be on the list," he said.
He asked his supporters not to insult their opponents.
He also explained that MK decided not to go to a conference before the elections because it would delay their campaign as people would be jostling for positions instead of campaigning for the organisation.
"We want a two-thirds majority. Positions will delay us. People will be fighting before they even know if we have won," said Zuma.
