Police have opened a case of murder for investigation.

Alexandra residents said this is now becoming a regular thing.

They said they are concerned that stolen cars are always found in their area.

“Two weeks ago, a teenager was found with a stolen car and the community moered him.

“If it wasn’t for the police, we would be talking about his death right now,” said Ayanda Khumalo.

Mahlatsi Molapo warned tsotsis on behalf of the community.

He said tsotsis should stop running to their kasi with stolen cars.

He threatened that should they find out that you have stolen someone’s car, they will deal with you.

“We want our neighborhood to be a safe haven for our kids.

“This won’t happen if we don’t get involved as the community,” said Molapo.
