EFF MEMBERS have been given marching orders to defend themselves against anyone who searches their homes without a search warrant.
This was according to EFF spokesman Sinawo Tambo, who also accompanied party member Victor Ramerafe to open a case against Operation Dudula leader Nhlanhla Lux Dlamini in Dobsonville.
A handful of Operation Dudula members were at the station to “hug” EFF members for supporting drug dealers. However, no hugs or kisses were exchanged, as the two groups were baying for blood and had to be divided.
Tambo said: “Nhlanhla Lux is a coward. He’s not confronting gangsters. He goes to innocent old men and women.
“We want him arrested. If the police don’t intervene, we will encourage our people to defend themselves. When he comes in without a warrant of arrest and searches cupboards, people must make him meet his maker.”
Operation Dudula’s Patrick Mokgalusi said: “We’re enforcing Section 9 of the Immediate Act that says whoever enters SA at any place other than a port of entry is an illegal foreigner. They must be arrested and deported.”
The EFF said it gave cops seven days to arrest Dlamini.
