THE Pan African Congress (PAC) launched its election manifesto at Orlando Community Hall in Soweto on Saturday, 2 March.
Party leader, Mzwanele Nyhontso said they will prioritise the needs of those who have been neglected by government
Nyhontso said the party is now stable and ready to govern.
“The PAC from its inception was never made to be an opposition but a party to govern. We are ready to take over and we are ready to bring back the land to its rightful owners. Without land, there’s no job opportunities and youth unemployment will just rise,” he said.
The party leader added that primary healthcare must be sourced with highly qualified medical practitioners.
“We must improve life expectancy to 80 years through a high quality healthcare system. We know that when you go to clinics for different reasons, all you get is a Panado. How possible is it that we have unemployed doctors in a nation with so many sick people?”

He added that the PAC supports free healthcare services to citizens who cannot afford it. There must be health care facilities in areas where there is no doctor.
“Medication and other pharmatical services must be provided by the state particularly in under developed areas,” he said.
PAC member said when they speak about the issue of the land, they speak about the four factors of production, which is land, capital and entrepreneurship.
“We are not going to speak about the factors that will make us fail in terms of the national or provincial election, but speak about the outcome that we are going to achieve. The manifesto of the PAC is very clear in terms of the land question, Africa belongs to Africans and Africa is for humility,” he said.
The EFF also held its provincial manifesto at the Dobsonville Stadium on Sunday, 3 March.
