WITH Mzansi heading to the polls, voters will be spoilt for choice.
The ballot paper is expected to have over 360 political parties contesting the 2024 elections.
Some of them are unknown to the public but according to the data in the Electoral Commission they have made their intention clear.
The long list of the ballot paper includes independent candidates, who will be contesting in the provincial level only.
Electoral Commission CEO, Janet Love said at the moment they were in no position to say how the ballot paper would look like.

She said according to their timetable they will only know that on 12 April and after that they will give the necessary pictures of the ballot paper to the public.
“We'll certainly at that stage also ensure that we have the usual process where we will select in a random way, who is on top of the ballot paper and the sequencing,” she said.
Speaking on the number of parties that are eligible to contest, she said: “As we know, these elections are open to independent candidates, and some political parties that have registered may decide to contest or not.
“We'll have that information at the required time when political parties submit all the necessary information."
The long list of parties, includes, uMkhonto weSizwe, Rise Mzansi, Gap Fixers of SA belonging to tenderpreneur and multi-millionaire Shawn Mkhize’s estranged husband Sbu Mpisane.
The polls will also see father and son going head-to-head, as former president Jacob Zuma's son, Duduzane Zuma also registered his party this year January called All Game Changers (AGC).
