WHENEVER the weather reaches high temperatures, people jump into the pool to cool down. But for one man, this did not go according to plan.
Partygoers were shocked when a man was discovered dead after disappearing into a sinkhole in a swimming pool. Over 50 people were attending a work pool party at a villa in the Israeli town of Karmei Yosef.
The Mirror reports that the 30-year-old man was sucked underground when the bottom of the pool collapsed.

Terrifying footage shows swimmers hanging on to the edges of the pool as the water drains rapidly and inflatables disappeared underground.
According to the publication, after a four-hour rescue operation, the man’s body was located at the end of a 15m tunnel. Rescue crews used Go-Pro cameras to look for the man in a large pit under the pool.
One partygoer said: “The water level suddenly started receding and a hole opened up, creating a tidal wave that swept two people inside.”
