HE was run over by cars twice.

And in all this, John Mabone survived.

He says he has his late mkhulu to thank as he’s fighting for him from the grave.

He said all along he thought what happened to him were just “mere accidents”, but there was a muthi behind.

“My grandfather came to me in a dream and warned me of the curses over me,” said Mabone.

“He told me there was a spear and muthi planted at the gate for me to get cursed as I jumped over unaware.”

Mabone from Etwatwa, Ekurhuleni said from the directions of his late grandfather, he went to dig them out and he got a shock of his live when he found this spear “

“And that’s when I learnt that my ancestors were looking over me.”

Mabone had since kept the spear and he appeals for prayers to fend off these evil spirits.

“It looks like this spear had long been there and it was rusty. As for muthi, I could not see it.”

From the two accidents that he sustained, Mabone said he’s now struggling to walk but he’s doesn’t want to allow his enemies win.

“I’m in pains but I am trying my best to push myself to walk again.”

He said he’s living everything to God to fight for him.

“Sometimes people just hate you and want you dead, but you are not aware. I have nothing, but people still want me dead.

“For the fact that my grandfather came to point out the spear and muthi, he definitely knows who my enemies and I believe he will fight them.”
