MPUMALANGA police are investigating a case of kidnapping after Nkangala District Municipality manager Maggie Skhosana was allegedly kidnapped by fake cops on Thursday, 20 October.

The incident happened outside the municipality gate.

Police spokesman Brigadier Selvy Mohlala said Skhosana was with her driver when a white sedan came along, with occupants pretending to be cops.

Mohlala said the fake cops allegedly stopped Skhosana’s car and after a while, they drove away while her car was following theirs.

“That was when the municipality manager was last seen,” he said.
