THE lawyer representing Detective Sergeant Monday Ngobeni (43) told the Bushbuckridge Magistrates Court on Wednesday, 5 July that his client will not plead guilty for the murder of his lover, Agnes Maluleke (36).
But public prosecutor, Lot Mgiba, who was supported by Ipid, opposed bail, saying the state has a strong case against Ngobeni.
"The accused is facing a serious count of murder. The state asked the Ipid to paint the picture so the court can understand how she was shot at," said Mgiba.
