MADALA Willie Mashegwana (76) is not happy with the court delays.

He said coming to court is emotionally draining him.

This after the man who allegedly killed his daughter was remanded in custody again.

"All I want is to get closure and see the accused go to jail for a long time. Each time I come to court and see the suspect, all the pain comes back. I relive everything that happened on that fateful day.

"I'll never forget seeing my daughter burning like wood inside her house. I want the court to get done with the case, and he shouldn't be granted bail," he said.

The madala told Daily Sun that he will never heal after the brutal death of his killed.

Murder suspect Sibusiso Mhlanga (29) appeared briefly in the KwaMhlanga Magistrates Court on Monday, 4 March.

He's facing charges of murder and arson.

He was arrested at his home on 21 February and made his first court appearance on Wednesday, 22 February.

Sibusiso allegedly killed and burnt Mogau Mashegwana (30) inside her house in Moloto Village near KwaMhlanga on 31 March 2023.

Mogau was supposed to celebrate her birthday on that fateful day.

The magistrate told the accused that he was to be remanded back to custody until he appeared again on Monday.
