A SISTER is blaming alcohol after his brother’s girlfriend and his two-year-old daughter died.
Her brother was badly burnt when a duvet caught fire from a heater just after load shedding in the early hours of Tuesday morning, 26 September in Boipatong, Vaal.
Meiki Kubu (66) said if her brother and his girlfriend were not drunk, at least they could have ran for safety, but because they were too drunk, they couldn’t smell that the house was on fire.
