Police said following an investigation into a deadly cash-in-transit heist that occurred on Friday, 12 August 2022, in the Nasrec area, four suspects have been arrested thus far by the Hawks’ Serious Organised Crime Investigation team in concert with Crime Intelligence and Ekurhuleni Metro Police Department.

The additional suspects are likely to make their first court appearance on Thursday 25 August 2022, also in Johannesburg.
