THE devastated family of Kagisho Lesufi is left with unanswered questions.
This after the little boy was found dead by an unknown pastor on Wednesday afternoon, 28 June.
The six-year-old from Lebowakgomo outside Polokwane, Limpopo, was discovered in the bushes at Zone Q eight days after his disappearance on 20 June.
On the day of his disappearance, Kagisho was last seen by his gogo at about 8am when they were having tea together at home.
He then asked his gogo for permission to play with the neighbour's kids, who were also not at school at the time.
When the gogo saw the kids later in the day, Kagisho was not with them. When she asked them about his whereabouts, they claimed not to have seen him.
Both Kagisho's family and members of the community set out to find him, contacting relatives and places he frequently visited, but with no luck.
Kagisho was found wearing the same clothes he was last seen in - a pair of short blue and grey jeans, a blue vest, and a grey top.

Kagisho's uncle, Ramunkung Lusufi told Daily Sun that the family is struggling with pain, grief and anxiously awaiting the results of the autopsy.
"We are deeply saddened as a family and the community at large because we have never experienced anything like this before. We suspect foul play as our son was found deep in the bushes," Lusufi said.
Limpopo police spokesman Colonel Malesela Ledwaba said an investigation has been launched.
"Further investigations are underway to determine the exact cause of death," Ledwaba said.
