A SPEEDING Mini Cooper driver was stopped after hitting two men who were crossing the road.


The men had just finished eating when the accident happened at Residentia in Sebokeng zone 6, Vaal, a few metres away from the robots.

A motorist risked his life after he blocked the road to stop the Mini Cooper driver, who sped off from the scene after running over the two men on Thursday night, 7 September.


The SunHero told Daily Sun that he was driving towards the robots and as he watched through his mirrors, he saw the speeding Mini Cooper run over two men and then drive away.
