MATRIC pupils said the History paper 2 they wrote on Thursday, 10 November, was as easy as cutting a piece of cake.

Pupils at Zwelibanzi High School in Umlazi, south of Durban, said they worked hard to prepare and were able to answer all questions.

Siphiwe Ganyile (19) said: “The paper was easy because I worked hard to prepare for it. It was everything that I was expecting.”

Mbali Cele (19) said not even load shedding could stop her from studying, and she was happy that there were no surprise questions.

Nosipho Sikhosana (17) said: “The paper was easy if you prepared for it. We were fortunate that our teacher taught us how to approach a question. That helped us a lot.”

Andile Dlamini (17) said he’d definitely pass with flying colours.

Matriculants at Itumeleng Secondary School in Ledig village outside Rustenburg, North West, were also happy with the paper.

Kopano Tsatsi (19) said it was one of the easiest exams he had written. But he said preparing for exams was not always easy.

Palesa Thibedi (17) said she wrote well and was looking forward to getting high marks.

Morateng Sehube (18) said he enjoyed it.
