MATRICS: History paper piece of cake!

WE expect good marks, matriculants said after writing History Paper 1 on Thursday.

In Vosloorus, Ekurhuleni, matrics from Thuto Lesedi Secondary School said the paper was easy.

Eliza Sithole (18) said it was a walk in the park, while Ntsakiso Rikhotso (18) said: “I had anxiety but managed to finish on time.”

Natasha Sithole (18) said: “The paper was simple. I was well-prepared.”

In Tshwane, most pupils were happy, with Maria Tshoke (17) from Ratshepo High School in Hammanskraal feeling confident.

“I’m sure I got a distinction.”

Kealeboga Nduli (18) from Mmakgetsi High School said the paper was a bit difficult, but he managed to write and pass. He said his challenge was load-shedding as he struggled to study at times.

In North West, pupils from Itumeleng Secondary School in Ledig had mixed emotions.

Pheletso Mothibedi (21) said he found the paper enjoyable and easy.

Zanele Zenzile (19) said: “I found some questions challenging. I hope for a pass.”

In KZN, pupils from Inhlakanipho High School said it was a piece of cake.

Nomzamo Mthethwa (19) said: “I was well-prepared. I believe I’ll get good marks.”
