Mpumalanga police in Mhala have launched a manhunt for suspects who committed an armed robbery at a Post Office in Thulamahashe near Bushbuckridge Mpumalanga today.

According to police spokesman Colonel Donald Mdhluli, four armed men wearing masks entered the Post Office and held employees hostage as they demanded cash.

They stole an undisclosed amount of cash from the counters and the safe.

“The four fled the scene on foot and police have opened a case of business robbery,” said Mdhluli.

“We’re appealing to anyone with information that can assist in the investigation of this case to kindly contact Detective Captain Alfred Mashele on 072 624 5133 or call the Crime Stop number on 08600 10111,” said Mdhluli.
