MALUTI-a-Phofung Municipality council chambers turned in to a boxing ring on Tuesday, 12 December.

This after the council seating went in to chaos when an ANC Councillor who was allegedly seen exhuming a dead body in the graveyard exchanged words with EFF councillors.

The alleged accused ANC councillor got angry and attacked EFF councillors.

The seating went out of speaker Mandlenkosi Dlamini's hands and other councillors joined the physical fight while others tried to intervene.

The South African Royal Kingdom organisation councillor and MMC for Finance Integrated Development Plan Napo Letlala, AIC Councillor MMC for Community Safety Herry Mdakane, ANC Councillor Mabitle Moloi, EFF councillor Chicco Mkhwanazi could be seen on the trending video physically fighting.

Dlamini has kicked out the fighting councillors and announced in the seating that council will launch a proper investigation.

In an interview with Daily Sun, Dlamini said the councillors brought up the topic of exhuming a dead body, accusing the implicated councillor to the matter.

"I will institute the investigations and provide the council with a report. We condemn the scaffolding especially in the councillor seating. The main cause of the chaotic situation was the undermining remarks towards councillor Mabitle who was accused for exhuming a corpse," he said.
