MAGDELINE Skhosana's son was allegedly assaulted by a neighbour who accused him of stealing.
Because the nyaope addict was badly injured, his friends transported him to a local clinic in a wheelie bin.
But sadly, he died in the bin, and the clinic staff never bothered to remove him from the wheelie bin.
When his mum, Magdeline from Etwatwa, was called to identify her son, she found her son still in the wheelie bin at Phillip Moyo Clinic.
Although this happened in May 2022, this still haunts the mother.
Magdeline said she can't sleep at night as the images of seeing her son in that state are still vivid in her mind.
She feels her son Khaya Skhosana (31) was treated like a dog, and to make things worse, the police are allegedly failing him.
"We see the suspect roaming the streets and with police doing nothing to arrest him," said her brother Lucas Skhosana.
A murder case was opened at the Etwatwa Police Station.

"We appeal to the police to give my brother justice; he was also a human being even though he was smoking, nyaope," said Lucas.
Magdeline said her son was doing well until he got involved in the wrong company.
"I'm hurt by the way the clinic treated my son. We were humiliated. But I will never rest until I find justice for him. The person who killed him is roaming the streets, and I feel the wheel of justice doesn't grind for those who don't have money," she said.
His elder brother Lucas said every time he asks the police why the suspect is not arrested, he's being told there isn't enough evidence.
"I collected some evidence, and I just want to see what they are going to do this time around," he said.
Captain Nelda Sekgobela, spokeswoman for Ekurhuleni District Police, said a murder case has been opened and that the police are investigating.
